
Prasad Perera
M.D. Prasad Perera- Project Manager Farmernet Project – Fusion
Prasad Perera is a qualified ICT personality, having served in a number of companies in the leadership position. At present, he is the Project Manager for Farmernet. He obtained his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Telecommunication and Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Sikkim Manipal, India and holds a Higher Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Web technology and Development in Sri Lanka.
He has varied experience in the fields of ICT, Telecommunication, Travel and Tourism and Private sector developments, as well as he worked on few leading ICT projects. He also played a key role in setting up several other well-known companies like MO-GSM, MilkyLK, Fexcon INC, Fexcon Travels within the world business industry, and has served on the Higher Management of those companies as well.
Ravindra Ariyawickrama- Deputy Manager of Sarvodaya Fusion

Ravindra Ariyawickrama
Ravi responsible for caring of administration, monitoring and evaluation of fusion programme. He is a one of pioneer member engaged in development of Sarvodaya Telecentre programme from its inception. He carries experience of 12 years in Telecentres and ICT4D sector and over 20 years in Social Development.
He has vast experience in social development and project management and he followed the a Programme Developing Manager’s (PDM) programme at Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines, “Information Technology and Multimedia” at Institute of Computer Technologies (ICT), University of Colombo and “Managing Rural Development” programme at WYE College/ University of London, England enhance his knowledge in this sector.
His contributions are reflected amply in the projects: 1) Comprehensive Community Development Project (2000-2005), Comprehensive Community Health Project (2006-07) partnered by Sarvodaya Funded by Novartis Foundation, Switzerland 2) Project Management of Multipurpose Community Telecentre Project (2004-05), funded by UNESCO Bangkok, 3) Project Management of Rural Technology Centre Development Project (2004-06) and Microsoft Model Village Project (2006-08) presented by Sarvodaya Funded by Microsoft 4) Coordinator- VGK (telecentre) programme, DEL centres, funded by ICTA, 5) Project Management of Post-Tsunami Healing and Recovery through Recreation & Play (2006-08), funded by USAID and Bush Clinton fund
Isura Silva -Manager of Sarvodya-Fusion

Isura Silva
Isura Silva is the Manager of Sarvodya-Fusion (www.fusion.lk ), a Social Enterprise which is the Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) arm of Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement of Sri Lanka. Sarvodaya is the largest non – governmental voluntary people’s development organization in the country.
As the Manager of Sarvodaya Fusion, Isura is responsible for the development of a model ICT4D platform as a community-oriented, nature-friendly, sustainable, holistic development engagement through a network of over 600 telecentres. He’s the Project Manager of telecentre family (www.tcf.lk) which is a flagship network of telecentre.org’s global network of telecentres.
Isura is qualified as an Engineer and a Management Accountant. He has more than 4 years of experience in the field of ICT4D specializing in telecentre networking through Social Enterprise capacity building, Education Service delivery and Awareness & Advocacy.
He obtained his Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering, from the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka (2004) and became a passed finalist of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) (2004).
Harsha Liyanage (PhD)

Harsha Liyanage
Managing Director of Fusion. He had been a Visiting Research Fellow to IDRC, Canada (2007 Jan – 2008 Oct), and South Asia Regional Coordinator for GKP (Global Knowledge Partnership) (2006 – 2008 June). Dr. Liyanage holds a PhD in Biotechnology from University of Tokyo, Japan, and served as a visiting lecturer at University of Colombo for over 5 years. His long involvement with grassroots sector as Deputy Executive Director (Social Empowerment – 1994/2004) and a honorary Vice President to Sarvodaya (2002/2004) had led him to become a consultant for organizations including the UN, World Bank, IDRC and many other International Development Organizations. His focus as a consultant includes Environment and Poverty, in addition to ICT4D.
In Sri Lanka Harsha has worked with many policy formulation bodies of the Sri Lankan Government. For the Government lead ICT program – eSriLanka – Harsha led the design and development of an innovative voucher scheme, to stimulate community participation in accessing rural Telecentres (nanasala). The model was so successful that it’s been adopted all around Sri Lanka. Harsha has recently completed a book – titled Sustainability First – capturing the research carried out on Social Enterprise based sustainability models for Telecentres (with telecentre.org of IDRC). Based in UK,currently he is reading for an Executive MBA in UK, in addition to fostering partnerships for Fusion.
